## **What payment cards can I add to the Curve Wallet**

You can add most of your Visa, Mastercard®, Diners Club, Discover debit, and credit cards to Curve. It doesn't matter if the card is virtual or physical – if we support it, you shouldn't have any problem adding it to your Curve Wallet!

We don't currently support American Express, Maestro, JCB or UnionPay cards and from the 8th February 2023, new customers will no longer be able to add Visa cards issued outside of the UK or EEA to their Curve account. As of the 4th of April 2023, existing customers will no longer be able to add additional non-UK/EEA Visa cards to their account. However, existing non-UK/EEA Visa cards can still be replaced but only if both cards are issued from the same country.

### **Non UK/EEA cards**

Please note, your first card must be a UK or European Economic Area (EEA) issued debit or credit card. You're welcome to add non-EEA cards once you receive and activate your Curve card - however you may be charged a fee when making transactions using these cards, you can read more about International card fees [here](/fees-HkkKBu2Lu#ifc).

### **How many cards can I add?**

You can add unlimited payment cards to your Curve Wallet, regardless of your subscription tier!

## **Linking new payment cards to the Curve Wallet**

We ask you to link and verify your first funding source while signing up. Once you're all set up, you can link with Curve as many of your payment cards or other funding sources we support, as you like!

The process of linking a payment card is quick and simple:

**Step 1:** You can scan your card details or enter them manually

**Step 2:** We allow you to change the billing address of your payment card in case it's different from your current residence

**Step 3:** Once you confirm the above we'll verify your payment card electronically (via 3D Secure). You won't be able to use the linked funding source before you verify.

### **3DSecure verification**

When you add a new card to the Curve app, we will ask your card issuer to approve a small transaction on the payment card (usually £1 or its equivalent in your currency) and immediately refund it. Your card issuer may ask you for your password or SMS confirmation in your banking app before it’s added to your Curve Wallet.

## **Updating payment cards in the Curve Wallet**

Is one of the payment cards in your Curve wallet expiring soon? ⏰ 💳

Not to worry! If your bank has already sent you a replacement card, you'll be able to add your updated card and continue spending with ease.

**Step 1:** Before updating your card in-app, you'll need to remove the card by following the steps further below.

**Important!** If you have only one payment card added to your Curve Wallet, select your Curve Cash card as an active payment method while you update your expired card. This should allow you to remove your old payment card and add the replacement.

**Step 2:** Once removed, add your latest payment card details to the Curve app - you'll then be able to continue spending as usual!

**💡 Remember** - transactions from the old card will no longer appear in the “Wallet” view, however, you can still view them in the "Timeline" section of the “My Money” tab.

## **Removing payment cards from the Curve Wallet**

To remove one of your payment cards from your Curve account, please follow these steps:

**Step 1:** Head to the **Wallet** tab in your Curve Pay app

**Step 2:**  Swipe to **locate the card want you want to remove**

**Step 3:** **Tap on the small gear / arrow icon** located under the image of your card

**Step 4:** Scroll down and select **Remove card from Curve**

If you only have one payment card linked with Curve, please select your Curve Cash card as your selected funding source before you follow the steps mentioned above.

If the payment card you want to remove is associated with your Curve subscription, please **link a different payment method** with your active subscription before removing this card from Curve, otherwise your subscription will be cancelled.
